1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in competitions operated by OutscorePro ("we", "us", "our") via outscorepro.ie. By entering a competition, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not enter.

2. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

All entrants must be at least 18 years of age. Competitions with prizes valued over €500 are restricted to entrants aged 18 and over only. Employees, contractors, and immediate family of OutscorePro are not eligible to enter. We reserve the right to request proof of age and identity at any time; failure to provide satisfactory proof may result in disqualification.

3. How Competitions Work

• Entry Method: Entries are purchased via our website for a fee (typically €10 per 3-attempt bundle). Entry is completed when payment is confirmed and you begin the quiz.
• Question Format: Each competition features 10 multiple-choice questions on a specific topic or niche, plus up to 2 numerical tie-breaker estimation questions.
• Timing: Each competition states a maximum number of entrants (entry cap). The competition closes when the entry cap is reached or at a date determined by us.
• Attempts: Each purchase grants a set number of quiz attempts. Your best score across all attempts is used for the leaderboard.

4. Prize Details

The prize for each competition is described on the competition page. Unless stated otherwise:

• Physical prizes are shipped to a Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland address only.
• Prize images are for illustration; exact specification will be confirmed on delivery.
• Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered unless explicitly stated.
• Travel or holiday prizes may have date restrictions and blackout periods, which will be disclosed before entry.
• We are not responsible for manufacturer warranties; where applicable, these pass to the winner.

5. Winner Selection

Winners are determined by the following criteria, applied in order:

1. Highest Score: The entrant with the most correct answers out of 10.
2. Fastest Time: If scores are tied, the faster completion time wins.
3. Tie-Breaker Accuracy: If still tied, the entrant closest to the tie-breaker answer(s) wins.

Winner selection is automated and occurs immediately when the competition entry cap is reached. The result is final and binding. We do not use an external independent auditor at this time.

6. Winner Notification & Claim Period

• Winners are notified by email within 24 hours of the competition closing.
• The winner's display name appears on the public leaderboard for that competition.
• Winners must acknowledge their prize and provide delivery details within 14 days of notification. If no response is received within this period, the prize may be forfeited and offered to the next-highest-ranked entrant.
• By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to provide a short written or recorded testimonial about their experience, which OutscorePro may use for promotional and marketing purposes across its website, social media, and other channels.
• It is your responsibility to ensure your contact email is correct and to check your spam folder.

7. Entry Fees & Payment

Entry fees are as stated on each competition page and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. All payments are processed securely via GoCardless. By submitting payment, you confirm you are the authorised cardholder.

8. Right to Cancel & Refund Policy

Under Irish consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2022), digital content and services that you have consented to begin immediately lose the statutory 14-day cooling-off right. Because quiz access is granted immediately upon purchase, refunds are not available once you have started a quiz attempt. If you have purchased but not yet started any quiz attempt, you may request a refund within 14 days by emailing info@outscorepro.com.

If a competition is cancelled by us for any reason, all entrants will receive a full refund of their entry fee(s) for that competition.

9. Fair Play & Disqualification

We operate automated anti-cheat measures including tab-switch detection, answer-pattern analysis, timing analysis, and device fingerprinting. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• Uses automated scripts, bots, or multiple accounts.
• Colludes with other entrants or shares answers during a live competition.
• Attempts to manipulate quiz timing or subvert our security measures.
• Provides false or misleading information.

Disqualified entrants forfeit their entry fee. Our decision on disqualification is final.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, OutscorePro's liability for any claim arising from a competition is limited to the entry fee paid by the entrant. We are not liable for: technical failures, internet connectivity issues, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (GDPR). By entering, you consent to your display name appearing on the public leaderboard.

12. General

• We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes apply to competitions launched after the amendment date.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
• These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
• OutscorePro is operated by OutscorePro Ltd (Company Registration Pending), Republic of Ireland.
